Capacity Calculation for Dehumidifiers

Instructions for use:
You can use the following method to quickly and easily determine the dehumidification performance required for your rooms. This capacity calculation should be seen as an estimate to serve as a rough guide - it is not a substitute for an exact calculation in accordance with existing norms. It is only valid within the specified limits. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

The following items must be included in order to be able to determine the required dehumidification performance:

  1. What is the relative humidity of the rooms?
  2. What is the volume of the rooms to be dehumidified?

In order to ascertain the relative humidity (1.) please enter the air temperature and then the relative humidity (or alternatively the dew point temperature). You can appoint the dew point via "set dew point" and enter alternative air temperatures to calculate the humidity values. You will automatically be presented with the results when changing input fields. All entries will be deleted by clicking on "reset". In addition, you may either calculate the room volume (3a.) or enter it directly (3b.).

The required dehumidification performance and the room volume are calculated by clicking on "calculate".
